A Good Stove

How will you cook food in an emergency situation? Your gas or electric stove in the house will be useless when the power and gas get cut off. A propane barbecue is good for grilling meat and can work for a short-term disaster, but it is an inefficient way to heat a pot of water or cook something in a frying pan. In my opinion a propane 2-burner stove is the best. Propane is cheap and plentiful and can be stored in small or large cannisters. This is a two-burner stove from costco.com for only $130. Then you have to store enough propane cannisters and matches.
